Hello B/ros, do you have any tips about rendering light and texture in pen and ink? (i'm already using "pen and ink drawing" by Alphonso Dunn but i'd like other stuff on that subject or on pen and ink drawing on general).

you got a lot of 'texture noise' going on.

You don't have to fill every square inch of space with textural pattern.

please go to this link and click on the 'Dissection' section and read the part about texture.
