Great impact, low effort. Well structured, broken into stages. I loved some of his WIPs where he uses the three value system (pic related).
Way too many artists use unorganized layers or spend lots of time rendering details the viewers won't appreciate.

Most anime artists just airbrush the shit out of the painting until it looks good, which reminds me of turd-polishing. This guy uses a very hard brush to cut into the painting, sorta like Sinix in his paint-like-a-sculptor video. Hard brush strokes have a lot of statement to them and the final drawing has that effortless feel to it.

If your fear is that you may like something that everyone hates, then you already lost. The first guy to be satisfied with your art is yourself.
If you´re still to young to have a style, you will notice that your day-to-day training and techniques affects your style, as well as the materials used. Compare simple tablets with pen and paper and later with a Cintiq, paint versus photoshop versus Manga studio versus SAI... it all differs, like oils against cryons. I rarely see my pencil drawings getting panned in 4chan, but i see my colors and 3d work getting shat on by trolls a lot - it all depends if your taste is compatible with the people you want to please.
That said, if you can copy Range Murata, you´re going to the right direction.

distance from ankle to knee its right, knee to hips its right, knee to clavicle should ve 50/50. the problem lies in the lower torso length,. that is too long which affects the leg length (leg to torso joint way too low), the head its a bit to small for the rest of the proportions looking way to tall of a dude. perspective its adecuite with banishing point far to the right off screen and little distortion.

I heavily advice to look for HQ releases of your favorite artists' series, the différence between them and the usual page size (and tankobon too) is massive. Lots of details are lost with the resizing. Same for the quality of the lines.
