uhhh, like 8 overlay layers of subtract, multiply, color dodge, and whatever else I could come up with. Also 16 hours of trial and error and frustration. And lots of color balance layers stacked one on top of the other. Pure luck. Here's the progression.

This piece is not done. I want to do something more for the outside panels, maybe tell a secondary story. The composition feels lacking otherwise. If you guys got any ideas on how I could spruce it up, please throw shit out there. I'm desperate and am willing to spend another 8 or 16 hours on this one!
