In either case though, the x, -, checkmark on the first makes no sense to me. Is he trying to state out what he thinks looks like shit and doesn't? The benched position in the upperleft would be a fine thumbnail that gets the general idea for you to go further with, and the face that's suppose to be upward leaning doesn't have proper perspective/placement on the nose. The skull should also be an x desu. The color work is even spectacularly mediocre.

Draw your form from life alot more, specifically focusing on gesture, because alot of the lines done in some of these seem to be for detail/contour and construction, but there's not enough basis for such a thing to happen. Probably wasted critique but ohwell.

Let me break this down for you:

1. More posting, lurking, watching youtube, talking about art etc. than drawing
2. No focus in studies, no clear goals and milestones
3. No creativity or experimentation, actually shunning it as a meme
4. Grinding fundamentals like a retard and never doing your own pieces
5. Not drawing from life
6. Going straight to digital only, wanting to become pornfag/concept artist without doing basic backround on what is important in these fields
7. Plebbiest taste, connected with no creativity and 0 character because /ic/ literally has no life at all, also not a shred confidence
8. Mental diseases, unhealthy, solitary lifestyle
9. No good critique from anyone, on /ic/ there's very little of it, just memeing and going straight into "fuck off, git gut" answers
10. Nobody goes to atelier or art school (no monies) or fails because mental disease and not knowing what he/she wants

And finally: If people would draw/paint good, they wouldn't be here, but busy drawing for money, meeting with other artists and managing their social media presence. Notice that when people miraciulously get better and don't have their creativity and drive destroyed by /ic/, they nearly immediately quit.

Generally once people hit a certain skill level they stop posting here because of the (negative) attention it attracts. Look at any semi decent artist that has posted here in the past, they get chased out or harassed constantly.
Also probably 2/3 of any advice given here is garbage or just bad, poor crit given by beginners to other beginners, and anyone whos above beginner level would recognize that. So there's literally no point to post here.
I stopped posting art years ago and just come here to check the book threads etc.

A good portion of /ic/ doesn't draw more than an hour a day and spends all their time chewing people out instead. But they still consider themselves to be 'serious' about art.
All the people you see in the draw threads have probably only been on /ic/ for a few months to a year, maybe two.
Everyone else moves on.
