you need to work on your edges. use a harder brush. you look like you're guessing values. it's not bad progress for five months, though. keep going.

Good for 5 months of practice from scratch.

Keep practice 4h a day, learn more about the different types of shadows, lights and edges. Your brushstrokes are also too fuzzy (not enough sharp edges related). Check out "subsurface scattering" on google, you'll love it.
