Yes. All sorts of professions put their name on their work. It both gives you credit and helps others identify what work is yours and, if your name is legible, how to find more.

Try to add something else to the video, i feel like it needs a lil more of pizzaz

Oh yeah this isn't my final form at all. I'm working towards actually being more of a reaction and goof channel where the paintings are sometimes incidental or whatever.

The set-up for when I start shooting on camera commentary and stuff will be me in front of a monitor showing the canvas from an ots or maybe pov go-pro, with close ups on the painting used to hide edits etc.

Also like the idea of wearing a gopro on your head and looking at a mirror when you want to do host to cam stuff.

with IRL practice it's very hard for me to justify using a pseudonym though I desperately want to use one
I want everything I do to be considered, particularly with a debut exhibition, I don't want to step out lightly
I feel that using a pseudonym for no reason other than essentially cowardice won't fly, but because I want one it will probably push me into the shortlist exhibition concept that will fit having a pseudonym, and I'll go back to one of the others later and also maybe work a bit outside of the medium I've been practicing

I use a username because it's the internet and on the internet you kind of need a username. Although I just made my shitty twitter recently.. Anyone have any good recommendations for art-related sites? I think tumblr might be good for it, but I don't want to have to make one of those unless I'm right about that.
