If you look at Proko, you will realize that pic 1 and pic 2 are two different skillsets. Second one especially looks like it was just a copy from a photograpy.

Let the guy do now some character design like in 2015 and let's see the difference. I bet there will be nearly none and he won't even be able to make proper thumbnails.
