both, anatomy is fucking complicated so study every source you can, add proko videos and bridgman to those too, if you're completely new to anatomy start with hampton then move on to the others

I'm not really new. I was looking to buy a more complete and detailed anatomy book. both of them seem to have similar goals and content, so that's why I was wondering which one you guys recommend, or if it's worth getting both of them?

Peck is good for an entry into overall anatomy

Goldfinger is good if you really want to study and practice every single bone and muscle. It will teach you shit about their placement, origins and insertions that you never had an idea about

It's more about gesture and proportions, and if you are a beginner you need to focus on those first.

Goldifinger's is more detalied in terms of pure anatomy -i.e. it shows where every muscle is- but there is no focus on gesture.

can some one tell why the peck book burns my eyes? what kind paper did they use to make this book?

Goldfinger helped me memorize everything much easier but peck i regularly reference. Get both.

How do they compare to Hampton? I've only ever used Hampton and Anatomy for Sculptors.
