What is a good alternative to Photoshop for digital painting? I tried Gimp and I hate it. Is there something that is comfortable for traditional artists working digitally?

I'd suggest trying out Autodesk Sketchbook. It's pretty good if you just want to draw without much advanced stuff.
Comes with pretty limited brushes, go on there blog and download all the free sets and fuck around with them. Most of them are shit, but you'll find some that are pretty great.

I can recommend Krita, Paintstorm Studio and Clip Studio Paint.
For more traditional feel - Corel Painter.
What do y'all think of Sai?
Seems very versatile to me.

I second the recommendation of Krita.
If you want more variety, you can check out FireAlpaca, too, but I'm doubtful it's great for painting. If you know Paint Tool SAI, FireAlpaca sorta works like that.

Asked a mate who uses it: PS has more effects, options etc but SAI feels better for pure drawing and painting. Stabilizer function is great

Paintstorm studio has amazing brushes that feel like traditional painting. I hear painter is good too

Sai's only real advantage is it's light weight

Photoshop is industry-standard and easy to learn. Use it and stop being a faggot.

anything is fine. but, in matters of facilities to work, it's better things like photoshop, for example Krita.
Sai is fine, but don't have that power to edit like the others, but is good for only paint.
