How do you do animation master studies?
Are you serious? Literally the same as a master study. Just draw.

Process.
Is it better to do frame by frame, just copy the motion without precision? Or attempt both?
When do you render the animation - during the sketch phase or after everything is done?
>>2819934
Depends. Are you studying an animation technique or are you studying an animator's artstyle.
>>2819926
>master studies
You don't have rights to copy other works without permission of original artist

>Just draw.
If that's how you're approaching master studies you're missing the "study" part.

what did he mean by this?
>>2819958
both.
>>2819961
Not true. You can copy them but you must not pass it off as your own work or sell it without permission
>>2819961
Nigga if that was true how yould possibly enforce that unless you were under 24/7 video surveillance

This should be /ic/'s banner.

There was a Bahi study in the animation thread a while back.I think that's how you're supposed to do them although I don't see many people doing animation studies. Maybe you can find it in the archives.
