Anime was originally inspired by disney and most Chinese painters learn from old masters who tended to be white males. Western art is still king, it's just that most westerners have succumbed to fat fuckery while the rest of the world is working hard to catch up to the west, which is why you see the east dominate in quality animation and high level render artists.
