Just went to an art museum. I actually had a really good time. But..... How is this art? I could do this
This too

art has long since ceased to be a measure of technical skill
an idealist believes that modern art is anything that effectively communicates emotion or meaning
a nihilist sees that modern art mostly revolves around who you know, and what image you have
some people on this board have fantastic technical skills, but what does that matter if you're just a neckbeard who draws detailed profiles of warhammer 40k characters

but you didn't do it.

Not this shit again

Art doesn't HAVE to be difficult to create anon...

It's spooky how we have this dualism thing going on in the art world. On the left the art is intended to have all sorts of complex meaning but because there's no technical skill involved all we get is blank canvases or menstrual scribbles. And on the other side there are artists who have all the knowledge of perspective, anatomy, etc but instead of depicting anything meaningful they work on highly rendered dinosaur space marine concept art. Fulton Sheen would probably have something to say about that

It's not just SPEESH MARUNE the problem.
Even artists who draw like the old masters are going to be stuck teaching art like Villpu.
A lot of people here seem to think that drawing statuary naked men like Da Vinci is actually what art is about. Well, too bad it was already done, for hundred of years. This is why your only choices are going to experiment a lot of crazy stuff like the abstract artists you hate so much or just give up on the idea of being exposed in a Museum and just draw whatever shit you like. Even autistic manchildren fantasies

>ell, too bad it was already done, for hundred of years
It was in Da Vinci's time too, but the Renaissance was defined by an appreciation for the skill of past masters not a disdain for noble subject matter as we have today. Those evil, oppressive, stagnant nude sculptures, we scarcely make any now but apparently we still have too many :')

But I don't disagree with you anon. Spending a lifetime on nothing but studying classical statues is simply a more refined part of the 'space marine' meme. Still, like the other anon said, we can only improve our situation by rooting ourselves back into tradition; the solution won't arise from the rejection of the past

Apparently you cant because no museum on the planet has your shit in it does it?
>>2813884
>I could do this
Yes, but did you? That's the point.
>>2815135
Hey fuck you leatherman.
>>2813884
>I could do this
But do you have any jew friends?
It's probably to do with the concept behind the work. What did it say on the plaque besides the work, OP?
>>2813884
You could do that, but you don't have connections with the CIA so no one will care about your shit.
