Your first step is building fans. For this, you'll have to do stuff for free for a while

1. Go to drawthreads in big boards like /v/ and do some requests, people will ask for your blog and other artists will see you and add you too. Do not shill yourself, it backfires.

2. Create a cute OC and answer asks with her, interact with people using the OC and people will slowly like her, thus creating another group of fans. Don't overdo her design, keep it simple so other talentless hacks artists can draw fanart of her.

3. Draw fanart of what's hot atm. Overwatch added a new character? Draw her. New LoL hero? Draw her. This anime is really popular this season? Draw the main girl. Try to draw fanart only of relevant shows with medium sized loyal fanbases.

4. Be active. You need to post at least once every 3 days. Even a sketch is fine.

Do those four simultaneously and quickly you gain visibility and other artists' support, and maybe even make some friends in the process.

I'm not the best guy at self promotion but I assume it's like everything else where you post on every site possible and try to direct everything back to a main hub/blog/whatever? Look up some anime pictures and look for a style you think it looks pretty. You should be able to emulate it easily with your current skill.

Your style is too dark and not anime enough for porn, unless you go for niche fantasy porn, but then you'd be against big shots like incase that can nuke you out of the scene in a month.

I personally find his work to be very good for what it is. The carefully designed shapes do lend themselves well to erotic art. Sure we can complain that there is a sore lacking of half tones at the edges of form making it look more flat than what might be desired or that the guy in this image looks like he has fetal alcohol syndrome or something but if we look at what it is in light of what the goal of the image is (to be sexy) I think it performs well.

I can get other work but the issue is that it is often stuff where I have to work all day for 3 days and I can't do that with my schedule for the next year and a half. Also I think a part of me is just waiting for an opportunity to draw this kind of stuff.

Another thing I forgot, these 4 advises I gave you, someone gave them to me 2 years ago and I went in expecting to profit the most out of smut drawings. I did find that, but also found some very dear friends and people who may not be the best artists in the world, but are wonderful people.

You may be going in with the intention of only making profit, but you'll gain something else as a bonus. Do not judge an artist by what he draws or his skill level, you'd amazed.
