How the FUCK does he do it, /ic/?
I'm rewatching the head structure series for the 5th fucking time and I still have no idea what I am supposed to do.
It's fine when I'm drawing alongside the video, but I'm lost when I'm on my own.
I understand Hampton's Loomis 2.0 and Borenstein's Riley-lite, but I can't wrap my head around this shit.
He makes it look so natural and effortless.
When he does it, it just looks like it's the logical way to draw the head and I want to learn, but I'm hitting a wall.

Yea I have the same problem. I think it's because in all of his demonstration he used paintings, so when an actual person popped up I was confused.

The basic head structure is just that, you need to move on to the features for most of it to make sense (though he's only just started the advanced lessons).
These + the painting lessons helped me a lot, but you do need to fill in some gaps with other instructors. At least go watch Vilppu as well.
