A couple weeks ago, they discovered a dinosaur tail trapped in amber, and it's completely covered in feathers. Chances are an awful lot of dinosaurs were feathered. But the feathers are really not bird-like.
How would you go about drawing a whole dino covered in them? Bonus point: make it at least kinda intimidating
Here's a close-up of the feathers

Bird-like feathers are indeed ugly on dinosaurs, but these look way more like fur than like feathers, I'm conviced you could make them look cool
And people are used to scale-covered dinosaurs, maybe the scales will bring a little bit of novelty that'll make them look even scarier
There's a ton of art of various raptors covered in them. But I assume you already know about them and want art of other species with feathers?
>grow up believing awesome giant lizards roamed the planet
>it was just a bunch of emus

Do these things fetch a good price or no?
Did they DNA test the dinosaurs? Jurassic park when?

And they did discover feathered dinos in 2010, but they were in stone, amber gives us a better idea of what they looked like

I didn't notice the tail at first, just the ant. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked.

"A dwarf planet is a planetary-mass object that is neither a planet nor a natural satellite"
I think that it's totally cool. I never liked the idea of giant reptiles in the first place anyway. Makes the earth seems less chaotic and I like it.
Fuck dinosaurs, therapsids are more aesthetic anyway.
