I bought one of the Yoshinari books many months back, there's a english button on the site but it doesn't translate everything but the checkout is in english. And the shipping charges weren't bad for me(like 10-15 dollars I think) but I live in the States so it might vary for other western countries.

I've not bought anything for while but I usually just add stuff to my cart and then go to checkout and get to the stage where it shows how much shipping and then just go back after I've checked. You'll need to start an amazon.jp account first too obviously. Also I find a lot of sellers don't ship to here in UK where I am anyway but it could be different for wherever you are. Again you've got to add stuff too your cart and take it to checkout and you'll be shown what can and can't be shipped though. For the stuff that won't ship out of Japan you could probably find on other sites. I use CD japan mostly. If its a marketplace seller selling something used or not in print or whatever I guess you could use a middleman but thats where shipping costs get really crazy
