I listen to music that would play in the background of my painting.

Odd taste but I listen to a certain artist/style of electronic that features glitched vocals but is also calming/trancey. Great bg noise.

i get really bored with music, for while i've been listening to talk shows, documentaries and audiobooks. the longer and more interesting they are, the better mood i'm in for painting. what sucks is that i run out of these fast and replaying them isn't the same as replaying music

depends on what I'm painting, I feel like listening to calm chill music if my painting has a similar vibe to it and songs with fast or aggressive beats if my painting has a lot of movement and color.

I tend to listen to entire albums of artist I've only heard a few songs from if I want to pay more attention to my work than the music. Uh, a lot of 80's goth music and hip-hop. The Gender Bender station on spotify. If I need to dish out work fast I listen to really loud and raunchy music so my mind can't wander, lol.

I listen to edgy music. Portrait of an American family, Antichrist Superstar, and Smells Like Children are probably my most listened to.
