idk man, online communities seem like a cool idea but people tend to either be non-committed, flakey, or go on a power trip and start removing people for no reason. It's probably best to find a group irl. Or if you you're like me and you can't, then just draw by yourself. None of the discords I've joined have really helped me at all, some have actually made me draw less.

Maybe we're talking about different ones. The only requirement was to post some work once a week, however my stuff was usually atleast an hours worth of work, sometimes more and I'd usually post once a week at least. I didn't get kicked cause of a lack of effort, I think the mods and some of his friends weren't even posting work anymore.

mods are controlling sure, but they seem to be doing good job for the most part. majority of issues lays in actual critique and work-related discussion. often enough youll get people giving advice for the sake of giving advice.

Usually those group start with 30ish people but boil down to 3-10 that are actually dedicated to it.
