In all seriousness though, you have to work your way back and find who they trained under the same way you do with ukiyo-e printmakers. A lot of artists came from lineages of assistants going back to Tezuka or Umezu, among others.

Or, if you have an encyclopedic knowledge of old manga, go back early enough and you can figure out who they were reading as a child and in their early 20s and piece their style together.
