How useful is Design Doll? Specifically for quick compositing for drawing reference? Like can I quick load a few figures and pose them manually with ease?
I dont want to have to fiddle with pose controls for a long time.
As far as digital posable dolls go it's competent if a little finnicky, but it's perfectly sufficient for quick reference. If you have a tendency to directly copy refs your drawings will look bad though.

It's a gay waste of time. Just learnt to, you know, draw.

I think it'll be a good way to get better traditionally.

I know how to draw, do gesture studies and drawing from reference regularly. I just want it to quickly get a visual for ideas I have.

It's pretty good for setting up quick compositions. You can set up your figures and then move the camera around to play with the composition and choose what you like. The only thing the free version can't do is download poses or models from their site.
I just want to use this for composition and placement ideas but I can't find the latest version which seems the most useful on torrent

No tools, just rules.

I mainly just use it to save porn poses because I have hangup about saving tons of porn just for sex position reference.
