Velazquez palette.
Two colors of dirt, ochre and sienna, and your choice of grey-blue, either ultramarine or lamp-black. It's watercolorists' first color theory exercise coming to you from ancient greece.

You can't really cater to japs intentionally.
>a curvacious babe without having to resort to fapping x minutes later
Daily yoga until you can apply discipline to reverse the flow of kundalini from your muladhara chakra to your creative center.

You can copy what's popular and ape their style and possibly get recognition from people into a certain artist, but it doesn't get you very far. You're just one more in the mass and don't have the intuitive understanding of the Wa bullshit. That and aping the japanese style often misses the finer points, ex. every western "anime" picture ever.
If you look at western works that get popular in japan in general, they have a novel aesthetic compared to what japan puts out that sets them apart with an inner aesthetic coming from the nature of the artist that japs can relate to. You may already have a sense of that inner aesthetic and can cultivate it, but it isn't something you can really cater to intentionally, more that it's already in you or not and the interaction of expressing it through whatever outward aesthetic style favors western novelty.
Look at Twin Peaks, it has a vibe and themes relatable to the slants, but in a western presentation. To do it intentionally, you have to cater to their nostalgia and their cultural idiosyncrasies and their fantasy and do it on their level. It's very hard, I think, to do so. Instead I take what speaks to me and re-express it through my own nature and experiences, in my own voice.
