woodcuts. a form of relief printing. pine is an inexpensive wood that's soft and easy to carve. you could also use other materials, like linoleum. you could also try scratchboard.

also these might be monoprints. ink up a plate then use q-tips etc to draw.

Foeget about it OP, you simply don't have enough imagination and creativity. You will never make anything interesting and your art will be exactly like the other guy, but a bit less refined.
