Honestly no digital program can emulate watercolours very well. You're better off trying to use actual watercolours or painting digitally in a way that is not trying to mimic it entirely.

It's like $20 for brushes and watercolours, dude.

That is what I do. I find that the computer inhibits my ability to be creative.
Created with water color pencils and water colors.

You've got more to worry about than your creativity being inhibited.

ctrl+z is overrated dude, specially if you are just starting out

Also, what are decent watercolors to look for if I'm poor?
>>
>>2756258
unfrotently all the normies and bored housewifes are driving up the price of watercolors to the point they are twice as costly as oils but even then i wouldnt go for cheap ones. its just too much hassle and prone to bad habits
>>
>>2756258
I started with reeves which is decent except for the fact it smells.

for brush, I just get a very cheap chinese brush that cost 25 cents, it holds a lot of water, I feel more than actually my sable could.

for paper it's better to invest for the most expensive you could get, but if not cheap ones are okay as well like canson watercolor pad, I started with it too.
>>
>>2756258
Van Gogh / Akademie / Cotman are fine for your cheaper colors, earth tones, etc. Avoid colors that are a mixture of several pigments, and for your more saturated colors you should save up and buy artist-grade tubes.

Go home anonymous, you're drunk.
