That guy was right, people really should not make entire threads about their amateur work. I agree it's not bad, but it's not really good either and he definitely has a place in the beginners thread. Not everyone there is literally draw-a-box beginner tier. I post in beginners with work comparable or even better than this.

Art is just a skill like any other, the time you put in determines how good you get. If you focus, study, and actually pay attention to what you're doing, you'll improve steadily until the day you die/develop alzheimers and watch it all decay.
