I tried out a colored pencil from an artist's loft beginner bundle I received as a gift and found it enjoyable other than it being a piece of crap that was nearly impossible to sharpen and broke too easily.
anyone who sketches/drafts in color have any recommendations?
The 0.7 pilot ones look nice and have better reviews than the pentel ones

These are the pilot leads btw I'd probably only buy red and blue for my sketchbook

I'm generally a big fan of mechanical for drawing small. Lately I've been forcing myself to draw from the elbow with the pencil at an angle and I've found that is a lot harder to do with mechanical pencils... I've switched back to wood for now.

I almost forgot most of /ic/ hates mechanical pencils, probably won't see much reccs on leads
