Literally any tablet that isn't a cintiq. Intuos pro medium is my recommendation.
>>

Money's not really too much of an object if it comes to shit for my computer that is actually good.

Do any of these really expensive tablets actually improve things much? I use a cheapass bamboo tablet someone gave me when I was like 15 and I've never really felt limited by it.

Ok.

Wacom's Cintiq line are used in a lot of professional settings, and the Cintiq 13HD is 700$ at it's lowest price.

Here's my review:

https://www.artsartreviews.com/2016/06/01/wacom-cintiq-13hd/

The Wacom Intuos Pro is also a great tablet if you don't mind not having a display at 300$

Here's my review of that tablet:

https://www.artsartreviews.com/2016/05/30/wacom-intuos-pro-pen-and-touch/

The Huion Giano is a tablet is great if you want something that covers all the bases and is the cheapest at $159

Here's is my review of the Giano:

https://www.artsartreviews.com/2016/07/07/huion-giano-wh1409-review/

Hope you end up finding the right tablet for you!

It doesn't really matter. I would upgrade to a medium sized tablet if you draw more than an hour or two a day, just to protect your wrist

I got my cintiq 13HD with a screen protector that I'm selling for 800 dollars, why?
>>
There's a big selection of Cintique alternatives ranging from a 10" screen up to 22". Just do your research on the screen types and resolutions to find the best fit. And read reviews.

£300 quid on amazon, really good would recommend.
>>
>>2742038
Huion GT-185.
I've had one for two years, I recommend it, Huion is at least as reliable as wacom
>>
>>2742038
Also, Lenovo thinkpad x200t. Its a laptop that functions as a drawing tablet with a screen, it uses wacom hardware and software.Got mine for £100
>>
>>2742038
import yourself a 30€ Aldi/Medion tablet and your gud to go!
>>
>>2742278
is there a huion tablet monitor thats not shit?
>>
>>2742038
you can get a used intuos 3 for ~50$ and a used cintiq 12wx for ~200$. The low resolution of the cintiq 12 may look worrying at first glance, but I find it perfectly acceptable for amateur use.

For professional work you might want to use one of the more recent ones.

Important: Watch out for the bigger sized cintiqs, a few of them only have 72% color accuracy, while the smaller ones tend to have 98-99% color accuracy.
>>
>>2744257
don't those suck ass. used intuos 3 are infinitely better (better drivers, better pressure sensitivity, angle detection, reaction speed) and cost about the same.
>>
>>2742038
Ugee 21.

Looks exactly like the Huion gt22 but has better drivers and is less expensive.

My Wacom.
>>
>>2742366
This, I've heard a lot of good things about that one
>>
>>2744266
They're not awful but they definitely have a lot more quirks and annoyances than the Wacom displays. It just depends if you want to put up with these things for the lower price.

I've rated all the ones I've reviewed 3.7-3.8/5.0, if that gives any indication.

Does it actually work well for drawing though, or did you buy a different stylus to use on it instead of what it comes with?
>>
what's the most commonly used, most reasonably priced monitor-screen pen digitizer?
>>
Don't get anything apart from WACOM. No Huion bullshit.

You can get a cintiq DTU 2231 ( the non artist version of the cintiq and without the buttons ) for 400 - 500$ second hand in good condition ( it's 21.5 inches big and 512 pressure )

I got it and it's quite ok. I'm going to buy the 13HD soon tho

Sounds like someone is trying to justify their shitty purchase.

>Not owning a Logitech G13 for easy buttons with macros while you draw.

That joystick is great to increase brush size or rotate the canvas.
>>
>>2747615
I use a orbweaver and have the joystick set to brush size too.
>>
>>2747667
How do you set the joystick to brush size?

the Huions are amazing
i got a huion GT-185 myself and i absolutely love it

You're next level stuff, Hackerman. When I grow up, I want to be like you.

>>2747667
Nice

>>2747832
I don't know about Razer, but in Logitech you go to Software and assign '']['' to each joystick direction.
>>
>>2747342
They aren't really the same thing at such a massive price difference. High-end tablets are basically just big screens with a pen, while low-end tablets are more like mousepads with a pen interface and some buttons. The expensive tablets are better because you are looking at where you're putting the pen down, it's more natural like using a physical medium.
>>
>>2742086
agreed, got it, its awesome, though if you need to draw big, then rather get an intuos pro
