show me paintings of being in love

dont judge
>>2739694
I'm not judging. Both have their place. I just think that they don't fit the thread that is specified in OP.
>>2739695
I meant, how do you know its not love? (I am positive for example that some would fit "love")
>>2739698
I think images depicting being in love focus on the romantic or sensual nature of it more, like the Toulouse Lautrec that the OP posted has them kissing tenderly while embracing each other in the sheets.
Those comic looking ones are showing things like cunnilingus that are more of a porn type thing and are not handled or depicted in a loving or romantic way at all. It's very pop-art and harsh and commercial looking and the emphasis is on the sexual nature of it mixed in with the messy rooms.
The Mielgo image is pretty sensual actually, and if it had no context then it could maybe be showing some love thing even though it's pretty sexual, but I mean I know he actually painted that image from a paused screencap of a porn scene. So. Yeah. Not love in my opinion.

these are two ladies in a brothel. you're welcome.

IIRC the girls were in love. You seem to have a very narrow view of what constitutes love.

Well they may be in love, but it doesn't come across that way to me. In >>2739691 rather than having a private moment between them as it should be in their room like that, the girl on her knees is instead arching her back and showing her pussy to the viewer. It's more of a sexual image than a romantic one. When talking of "being in love" I associate it more with the emotional qualities. There can obvious be physical ones as well, but they need to be paired with the emotional. Like a kiss can have a lot of different meanings--kissing your mother, kissing as a greeting, kissing a one night stand, kissing a soulmate. They are all different, and if you want to get love across you need to show more than just a kiss.

here
>>2739708
Nah you're probably just retarded m8. When OP said "love" and used his pic as an example he clearly wants paintings that show the tender sensual but non lewd aspects of love and not FUCKING because that's what you do when you're in love

have you ever stood on your knees with the torso away from your center of gravity in the opposite direction?
>>2739808
what is love?
>>2740205
Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me... No more.
I'm not sure if this counts or not. I always thought that this painting is rather sweet, in a way.
>>2740432
Lmao what a baller.
>"Honey come on over I want to do a painting of us together!"
>"How sweet of y--are you drunk again?!"
>"Take off yer shirt baby and come 'ere"
>>2739693
Its accurate,"love" is all about sex right?

Can't tell if bait or sadman
What does it mean to you to be in love? For me, love is the balter of molecular entanglement. Love is cessation, warmth, and to surrender. Love is to simply be, to exist, and I love all of you. I love you all so fucking much, and it's just because you are.
When conscious minds love eachother, they have only agreed to sit together as passengers and comment on the view.
