Are there any good books out there that teach how to draw all the different kinds of clothing, and how various fabrics and materials look/fit/stretch/hang in real life?
I find myself relying on references. But to me, that's like drawing a figure without knowing how the underlying anatomy works. I'd really prefer to have a theoretical understanding of what's going on with clothing.
The best resources for artists that I've found are too generic, not getting much into different materials and ways clothes are put together. I'm sure I've been looking in the wrong places.
