what's /ic/ consensus about this?
should i upgrade/pirate my CS5?
Please don't. CC is getting more bloated every update. CS5/6 is fine as they are.

I use CC. Haven't had any problems with it and it looks sleeker and has more tools than my old pirated outdated version from before. I don't mind paying the small subscription fees for it either, I feel I owe them for having used a pirated version so many years.

The list of improvements it's a complete joke.
Particularly if you consider that they jumped from version 2015 to 2017
Pirate 2017 ver and nothing problem, just heavier than CS6

no its garbage that got ruined when adobe felt like punishing the customers because of pirates, they deserve the shit they get.
is it true that cc always has to be online? i don't always have internet and i like to paint outside a lot so that'd be a complete deal breaker
try and pirate it or get a hold of a stand alone version of cs5 or 6. they fucked up with the cc I stayed away form it. I won't be using anymore adobe products, just my cs5 I bought back in 2010, it has everything I need.

How's 2015 in comparison? Does 2016 or 2017 justify an upgrade?
i reilly love this anyway
2017 is out? shit i just installed 2015.5
can you upgrade from that version

Seriously the only major change I've seen since PS7 was the autosave.

>every improvement is basically useless
okay, guess I'll stay at my cs6 version

This was my thought process too. It helps that I'm IT staff for a college so I get the academic subscription discount. It's like 9 a month or something?

am using pirated cc. It works fine beyond sometimes some very very mild bouts of autism.
I'll probably buy it when or if I actually make any money
>>2735542
shill post right?
Bought CC, honestly just feel bad about not supporting the devs, also feel bad about making money using their software, cancel'd my WoW subscription to be able to afford the exorbitant 10.75 a month.
Product is not much better.

Someone shop that pic to have a guy staring into an anal protrusion.
Let me guess. Still no brush organization? Brush engine still shit? Oh, I thought so.
It kind of looks like a big smartphone app. Why does UI elements need to take up so much space and use font sizes that take up half the screen? Is it developed for people with poor eye sight or children? I fucking hate this "oh look here are TWO BIG BUTTONS SO YOU CANT MAKE THE WRONG CHOICE" shit.
Hahahha wait it has support for emojis. I shit you not. Fucking EMOJIS is a new feature.

Face-Aware Liquify
Nadars job just got a lot easier

This is smartphone app tier. How fucking hard is it to draw a brush stroke over the eye to mask them? It takes seconds. What a completely useless feature
cs3 here
