Is it possible to power level your art?
Like, just draw tons of stuff until you're gud?
>>
>>2711633
Are you asking if practicing something makes you more skilled at it? Are you retarded?

This is what neurotypicals call deliberate and focused practice.
>>
>>2711633
We regulars like to call that "practice". Spruce it up with fancy millennial talk all you want, there's no "get gud fast in 3 easy steps" in the real world.
>>
As opposed to what? Drawing some stuf until you're somewhat good?
>>
There's a misconception that drawing tons will make you a master. Drawing a lot will definitely help with your line confidence, but not much else.

What you should do to 'powerlevel' is draw with intent or a purpose, always trying to learn something by breaking out of your comfort zone.

You can draw the same figures and models all day, but what ends up happening is you memorize shapes and it quickly becomes symbol drawing.

>You can draw the same figures and models all day, but what ends up happening is you memorize shapes and it quickly becomes symbol drawing.
>he actually thinks that can happen
>>
>>2711658
>calls having a visual library 'symbol drawing'

The memes have gone too far.
>>
Drawing the same thing with the same skills over and over again will result in slow progress, sign up to some online classes, do 6 hours of those a day, learn new techniques, and most importantly, draw everyday.
>>
>>2711674
that's what happens when beginners spend too much time thinking why they are shit, instead of actual practice

I speak from experience

>>2711633
>Is it possible to power level your art?

and at that turning point OP learn ''talent'' is just a myth
>>
You can always go into politics instead

not only drawing tons, but doing it under proper conditions.

Say you do it at home: bad
Do it in an atelier: kind of good
Doing it with heavy clothes on: nice
Doing it at 100x gravity: now we are talking
Doing it in an alternate dimension where 3 months equal one hour in our world: you are gonna make it

They said DaVinci was so good, when he was asked how good he was he turned the earth into a perfect sphere with a pencil. And the pencil was perfectly sharpened afterwards. Nobody doubted him ever again.

tl;dr: power leveling is real

Nice painting, Fuhrer.

Ill tell you how i did it, when i was a kid i traced everything, everything, this gave me a feel for how things actually are, i would also never pay attention in class and just doodle all day.
Eventually i got curious of why in the how to draw books they always have those pipe men and shapes, and it tells you to learn actual anatomy.
So i grew into a neet, and now all i do is study perspective, anatomy, color theory.

Then you learn the secret, everything can be broken down into a simpler shape, everything can just be pipes and sticks, or just a light template, then you can draw over it, you can draw the deatils.
Then you realize, oh , what about, what about drawing things from different angles, or how about far away, and up close, and side to side, and below, and above.
And, wait, women are shaped differently from men, so are kids, and old people, and nigs look different, and asians have chink eyes.

Also, wait, wait, wait, how come i never draw mechanical things, and buildings, and animals!

it takes time to develop a good eye, it takes time to develop a good hand, it takes time to develop your knowledge...

so if you just copy paste your shitty skills everytime it doesn't work at all.

if you try to judge whats wrong with your "art" and try to learn from your mistakes you'll definitely git gud.

well you can't git gud without training so...

it is not enough to draw what you see. but it is enough to see what you are looking then draw it as it is. put technique aside. use ruler. use all from 8B to F pencils. eye the object. attack it visually. know it. be it. apply it. imagine perspectives, disortions, shapes, shades, simplify magnify. the eye will teach you how to draw. but how much are you able to see for yourself is the question. drawing is nessesity
>>
>>2711633
Yea, that is the process everyone outside of /ic/ follows every day.
It's called practicing instead of bitching, comparing, or crying.
>>

is this really hitler's?

i like it

yeah its hitler, at first glance his works look ok but if you look closer yiou can see what is wrong with it like most of his work.
>>
>>2714380
One thing I never liked about Hitler's art is his color scheme. It looks really ugly. The building in the OP painting is supposed to be stone (I think) But it looks like a badly rusted tin construct.

The tree isn't nice to look at, the courtyard isn't nice to look at, the building isn't nice to look at. Even ignoring his persistent difficulties with drawing/painting the human figure, he was far from qualified to enter that art college.
>>
>>2714419
>implying he's not better than 90% of /ic/
>implying it makes any sense to enter a school when you've improved to the point where you don't have much else to learn
>implying you're not a damn dirty jew

I wonder how Hitler would fair if he applied to art colleges today.

Are European art schools a lot more strict? In Ontario it seems like they'll let in anyone.

hold on a moment,
you want to say,
that,
modern art
turned to shit,
cuz all artists were accepted in school
out of fear of creating a second Hittler?
>>

ISIS never had art interests and went batshit anyway. same for trump
>>
>>2714575
He still probably wouldn't be able to get in.

Having great art is not really conductive to the money laundering business.

Keep copying flipped b&w photos I guess
