I do. Krita still has to be optimized a bit more.
I consider it a serious competitor to Photoshop for painters--- but only because its Free (as in freedom).
It still has a mile left in the marathon before it starts taking a chunk of marketshare from the big wolves.

Don't use GIMP for obvious reasons and krita is way too slow

Yeah I never understood Krita's brush lag problem
Like if I get brush lag in photoshop it's from my computer, but it seems Krita is just badly coded

I think they've been working hard to fix performance, at least with the last few updates I haven't from a problem with brush lag anymore

Its not as big as a problem as it was before.
But still- good luck with big brushes.

Mypaint looks like a great program, infinite canvas sounds wonderful, but it just doesnt fucking work on windows

maybe ill try it with my Mint installation later
