Probably. You can do this with oil, but it will take for.fucking.ever to dry.

Don't do this OP. It's the plebbiest of pleb painting. Go read "concerning painting" by kenyon cox and "the practice and science of drawing" by harold speed, then you'll be on the path to git gud.

Well the one he is using is oil paint, its pretty expensive though. I dont use acrylic, but im sure you can get a similar affect. But yeah, the style is called impasto and done with a palette knife instead of a brush.
