I like them. He has a fun sense of design and I like that he actually just cares about that rather than renderwhoring it to try to make it look better. They always reminded me a lot of Leon Bakst's designs except looser and more modern. He also probably knocks out those sketches in like 5 or 10 minutes.

I think the concept designs are kind of plain and has too many tacked on jewlery etc in order to hide from how boring and plain the characters actually are

I want to credit the art team that does the sprites but the only people that ever seem to get credit is amano himself despite the very sub par work
