Did these a little while ago, first time I did silhouettes.

Also, whats a good place to learn about silhouette design? I watched the foundation patreon video on it by john park and it was pretty helpful. Any other stuff you guys would recommend?

What's the point of silhouettes? Does it help with something?

It allows you to play around with simple shape language and focus solely on designing you character/vehicle,etc. instead of focusing on the details. I guess kind of how you would do thumbnails for a painting. Silhouettes also make it really easy to explore the design aspect of art because it's so easy to change things around until you find something that works.

Also take this advice with a shitload of salt since I'm a pleb. Just my thoughts on it.

I only use silhuettes for pixel art
It helps me more than to "pixel" on a rough sketch
