>artist has only few fans
>already opens Patreon
>whores his ass everywhere with Patreon stuff
>Patreon exclusive streams
>Pateron exclusive art
>Pateron exclusive etc.
...
>they start disappearing from everywhere and becom Patreon only
>when they were more active on open places at least they had a chance to entertain more people
>and it was just FUN to have them around and talk/chare and discuss art/visit streams
Why they do that?
I understand how some autistic porn artist with 40000000 followers can have patreon but why random artists do that?
Having a Patreon is like closing in your little world and becoming not fun anymore.

because they can why do you care get back to drawing
do you not know what money is
They don't understand how to strike the balance between exclusive content and building a fan base. You're better off not limiting access to your art, but only limiting services to patreon.
For example, say you draw some really nice fan art. Is it better to let that piece hit free galleries and rack up views or to just let your 40 patrons see it? You could limit your tutorial, recording, request/commission services to patreon at a much lower cost since commission clients and patrons are an overlapping crowd.
F2p games work because you get to see and feel hunger for everything you're missing without paying and it may be best to run your online presence in this way.

its just 5 dollars a month. who cares? get better start a patreon get some pocket sand money and you wont be making threads like these soon enough.

>its just 5 dollars a month. who cares?
Disappearing from all places and doing "patreon only" streams and drawings for 5 fucking dollars?
instead of showing it for everybody and having better chances?

Not really, it's how you use the patreon. If you throw all your shit behind the paywall it is, but that isn't a requirement of having a patreon. Some just do tutorials or fill requests for patreon subscribers.
