Is it just me or this obvious use of digital brushes looks like shit? Like it was done with shitty markers.

Kinda cool, but a little confusing. Depth is a bit off to me.
>>
Kinda cool but also a huge oversized mess with no sense of composition, hard edges everywhere, no detail distribution, weird textures. Almost looks like professional concept art.

Also doesn't deserves its own thread.

I feel like the black on the left side is way too overpowering. It looks like it's the only pure black on the canvas. It took me a while to even notice the half-sunken car in the middle of the composition. I think that's where you should try to draw the attention of the viewer.

All in all I really like its vibe. Nice comfy post-apocalypse.

I disagree, the composition is pretty solid lmao. He wanted us to look at the tree (I assume) and that's what the piece does.

The mood is there, the color are great. It's a bit muddy though, you could sharpen some areas, like the tree for example, I'd love to see more details on those roots. Also I think there's an issue with the scale of what's in the piece. The car in front of the tree shouldn't be that big if the tree is as big as a building. Maybe adding a bit of atmospheric perspective could help make things a bit bigger. Also watch for perspective, I think the building on the left is a bit wrong. But hey I might be wrong too because I struggle hard with perspective.

Just my 2 cents, keep going dude!

Do you even know what a hard edge is? You've been looking at too much concept art and not enough art in general. You seem bitter also.

Work on values

About every single detail have a sharp transition in value and high contrast. That's what I call an edge. It kinda works in the thumbnail but looks like a mess when you look at the real thing. I didn't mean to sound bitter. I think it's pretty cool overall, just messy.

I feel like I could tap it for green mana.
