I don't know what the fuck is wrong with him. He isn't a god tier artist by any means but he has proven that he can do decent art work. If you look at his portfolio he has some decent things in there too. I can't for the life of me understand why he pumps out shit like the OP.

His latest stuff on his channel has been crap even by his standards, but /ic/ pulls the "he's been drawing for x years and barely improved" too much. Here are the reasons why he sucks even after 20 years of drawing:

Closed mindedness.
Refuse to try new things.
Thinks doodling is hard work.
Thinks being analytical is bad.
Having that turd polish mundset therefore nothing gets done.
Thinks that its okay to suck at something because he isnt interested.
Doesnt network with big artists from hollywood/game artists
Thinking that being good at caricature is enough.
Self fulfilling prophecy-he thinks he isnt good because he cant remember faces.
Thinks it is okay to suck because he has a tragic past - put all the blame on others.
Thinks hand dexterity is important.
Never finishes anything.
Thinking that rough sketch is enough.
Thinking that detail is not necessary because it is easy.

Its unbelievable. All the artists that draws with him in crimson daggers are all pros now except for him. Look at alex negrea and john silva, they drew less than him but improved to much faster.

He's barely improved because he has no confidence in himself.

I feel like his style could work if it was more flat and minimalist. His style looks so hideous since he's trying to render it in a semi-realistic. Which doesn't work since people in his style looks horrifying.

He is always bringing around that victim mindset, like he has a terrible childhood and depressed plus multiple personality bullshit and uses that as an excuse to keep doing fucked up things. And when you criticize him, he wouldnt listen and aegues with you again.

I think most people hate Sycra because they used to idolize him when they were just starting off, but then when they started to get better and start realizing his stuff was not actually THAT great.. Despite all his videos teaching, and him repeating the word "Anatomy" over 9000 times. Y'know I used to really like Sycra myself but when I compared him with other artists like Kronpr1nz or other really good pixiv artists I just couldn't really admit he was a good artist. No matter how hard I tried to make him a "senpai" I just couldn't because his work always looked like scary pointy chinned goblins or weird ass creature or some shit, and I refuse to be taught by people that can only talk but can't really prove that they can DO! Thus the reason why I stopped watching his videos.

Maybe looong long LOOOOONG time ago when Da vinci or Raphael were still alive but even way back then Michael Angelo was more of a free spirit while Raphael had all these prestigious teachers cause he was a rich little shit i guess. Still like Angelo's work much better, and he is known up to this day for painting the Sistine chapel. Most good artists that I see these days are usually self taught. Im still really a beginner but what turned me off about him was after seeing lots of other artists say that style comes naturally and you shouldn't worry about it was seeing one of his videos about how he had to force his style. I don't find his stuff particularly appealing which is what made this even more bizarre, it clearly didn't work so I have no idea why he didn't realize it years ago and stop limiting himself.
