All these ships have something that doesn't seem quite right when it comes to perspective. Can anybody ples help me out here?
I'm just a noob myself but it seems that the horizontal lines of the stern don't have a vanishing point.

You are right in that it is a completely mundane phenomenon, but wooden ships do twist in the water.
