Hey guys, I know it's not really the place for that kind of stuff. I was planning to go this year but I have to concentrate on my job, I'm selling a ticket if someone here is interested. Turning this thread in a THU thread so I don't feel like "promoting" or else.
Last year was super interesting with lots of good artists but this year looks weak, the speakers are mostly vfx/sci-fi/photobash artists and it's not at all my interest.

Claire Wendling, Karla Ortiz, Sparth, Ruan Jia. It doesn't look so bad, anon. I'd go if I wasn't cheap and socially retarded, and if it was taking place in my back yard.

>Claire Wendling
She just draws and doesn't really do finished paintings or anything. She also is not very good at explaining technical things and relies on intuition and experience when she draws. You won't learn much.
>Karla Ortiz
Basically does a very slow demo where she has a ref on the side and copies it. Again you won't learn a ton.
>Sparth
Never seen him demo, it might be good. He knows his stuff.
>Ruan Jia
Last I heard his English wasn't good. You will learn as much as watching any of the numerous videos already online of him painting.

I already met Karla Ortiz, she's amazing but I'm mostly looking for artists in animation and this year it's mostly VFX artist, I feel like I will be bored very easily and it wouldn't worth 700 euros...
Omg karla again? I cant stand her laughing every time she opens her mouth. So distracting and annoying. She laughs at things that werent funny. Omfg.
