I really like this software, but I can't help feeling like I'm not using it to its full potential. (I mostly use default brushes/settings for everything)
Are there any good tricks to Krita to know about?

Download "digital painting with krita" somewhere, It's full of tricks and useful info.
I find something new every time then I open it. Literally.

Could you share a pdf (mixtape, mega, whatever)
Normally I'd check kat.cr but it's still down and tpb doesn't have it. And a google search, well it's hard to know what [Download - Free!] buttons I can trust

I'll try to upload it, anon.
Wait a few minutes.

>Krita is having some weird issues with win10
That issues? Krita 3.0 works good on my pc with win10. But it may crash then I close file lol.
If I zoom to 200%, the canvas disappears when zoomed to less than 200%, shit's annoying.

I can finally post this pic.
Last time I tried krita the blending fuction really dissapointed me but with this guide I may try it again.
I just need good brushes, I need to break from SAI's limitations.
Having a software-related drawing problem in Krita. To explain it as best as I can, basically when I begin to make a mark the cursor "teleports" from one place to another (making a straight line), and does so again when I stop making that mark as well (the cursor "teleports", but because I'm not drawing anymore it isn't affecting the work directly). Anyone else have this problem?
Just recently started using Krita and I find that I get some bad laggy spikes while trying to draw. My computer specs are fairly decent so I'm not sure what the issue could be, has anyone else had this issue?

>My computer specs are fairly decent
Define "decent"

Not him but >>2653198 here,
Krita works pretty good on my "gaming" laptop, but I have a very capable secondary laptop that I bring to work:

that seems to be giving me this basically fatal error. Pretty disheartening. I'd really like to use Krita across both of my machines.
As I was writing this post I remembered that this laptop has a default power setting where it basically lets the battery drain down even when it's plugged in and likely gimps the hardware in the process so I'm going to try that I guess.

It's still Qt port so don't expect miracles with complicated brushes on windows. It works flawlessly on linux though which makes sense since krita's main platform is linux.
It was worse year ago so in time they will fix stuff
