Does this shit trigger anyone else?
Almost every phone, tablet and computer now use these LED backlit screens, and they make everything look alien and strange. Red and blues are exaggerated heavily and harmony is left behind for boldness. It's like when you look at the world and then at the screen, you have to "change keys", because they're not saying the same thing. LEDs are more immediately impressive but lose out on the complexity that the LCDs had
Pic related was one of the few examples I could find on google (LED is left), I'll see I can find some more
phone is LED in this one
notice the top left corner is green in the tablet and blue in the phone. all the tablet colours are balanced nicely (if you look past the bad picture quality) whereas the phone's are just loud, the red of the dress is almost overwhelming
one is an intricate harmony and the other fields of colour shouting at you
let me know if you guys get this too, it's possible i just have undiagnosed autism

You're quite correct, this is why I like my old MacBook so much - the excellent LCD display.
LED-based screens are an abomination if you value accurate colour reproduction.
CRT is the best there is.

I don't think this is about our screens, but potential clients
