back when i was in highschool, i took a lot of art classes. they were all taught by the same art teacher. almost every single day of class, in every class he taught, he played Norah Jones's album Come Away With Me. every time. and no, he did not put it on shuffle. he started it from the beginning. every time.

just thought i'd share that. i wasnt even mad. it became like a novelty. it got to the point where if he didnt play it, I'd say 'hey wheres norah?" and he'd be like "oh yeah" and he'd put it on. it was like some weird experiment in music association training. I hear Norah Jones, and my brain knows it art time

video game music most of the time, the shinobi 3 ost , silent hill 2 3 and 4 ost, some of those youtube compilations of relaxing game music. the sound of video game music helps me focus because when i hear it i think it makes me get into a focused mind state from playing the game intensly when i was a kid.

I listen to a lot of Marilyn Manson's earlier stuff, like Portrait of an American family, Smells like Children, and a tiny bit of mechanical animals. I know, I know, it's 'edgy' or whatever, but it helps inspire me since it has the perfect balance of carelessness, shock value, and glam, and I like drawing those things.

I usually go to youtube and look up some mix or playlist, I like Death Grips a lot, I probably listen to them the most. I've been thinking about getting Pandora, but havent really found the need to yet. I'll do some research on it soon though.
