How does one handle inking when working digitally? Inking was used back in the day to deal with pencil lines not showing up and was a bit of an art form in and of itself, but does it have a place when drawing digitally or is there a better, more productive and streamlined method to approach clean line art?
Also, if anyone knows any good books/videos to achieve decent line weights and more comic like shadows, I'd appreciate the recommendations.

Don't know much about digital inking, (I'm a traditional inker) but I came across this post from Krudman (fanboys comic) where he breaks it down into explainable steps. Hope it helps you out anon

I appreciate the link and help, though sadly most of that stuff I already know.

This is actually a extremely unorthodox approach. Most artist have their most confident stroke going out from their body, not in ("pulling") as he suggests.
