These look pretty bland m8. Nothing that sticks out as creative or detailed, and if these are really good moments in the manga we are still clueless without context.
>>2637707
This one's always stuck with me, I don't know why.
I don't have a non-watermarked version with me, I'm not at my computer right now.
>>2637769
a lot of them I love because of their effectiveness of creating an emotion or feeling.
A few because they are jokes and payoffs that are all done in a single image.
I also didn't want to just post entire pages, since he said "panels".
And finally, doesn't it get tiring just posting Berserk over and over and over?
>>2637783
I fail to feel those emotions or laugh
>>2637715

Man, I love this style. I don't read superhero comics anymore but this scene is epic.

>>2638658
Practically every page of Hellboy.
Gantz was fucking crazy, I can't even pick a favorite page.
>>2638680
wtf?! Also, sauce?
Can't think of a particularly gripping page of art right now, but that scene from Watchmen was pretty bad-ass.
"You don't understand! I'm not locked up here with you, you're all locked up here with me!"
lot o' body horror
gg
>>2638699
That's a page from Neo Devilman.
>>2638701
T.Hanks
Y'all seriously need more influence. If you're only gonna follow uninspired manga, uninspired manga will be what you end up drawing.

OP said favorites, not post what you want to rip off.
>>2638724
Look, it's the bait
the impact is really felt in context, posting a single page doesn't convey much, so all you can post is huge detailed drawings. But that's not necessarily the manga's strength.
This page is an example. Singled out, you don't even know why they're talking about a falcon (it's the character's nickname), it's just a few faces not amazingly drawn if you judge it by illustrator's standards or those very technical manga. However, I remember clearly getting to that page and it striking me so much that I paused on this page for a few minutes. There was almost a visual illusion where I can imagine the different panels fall into place, incredible experience. This is due to the composition and most particularly, the abrupt change of pace and composition compared to the previous page. Obviously, the plotline participates in that as well.
>>2638733
Please don't make me explain the difference between having an art influence and ripping off someone's original work.
>>2638737
I like manga, but like 90% has the same style/composition/idea, how do you expect to grow as an artist and find your own way of doing things if you don't surround yourself with variety of opinions, I wonder.
>>2638752
>I like manga
Don't lie.
>>2638752
personal fav
>>2638729
what's this? I love it
>>2638757
Allow me to elaborate: I like GOOD manga.
y'all are missing the point.
>>2638752
>Please don't make me explain the difference between having an art influence and ripping off someone's original work.
Oh I know the difference. That was my point. I guess you're dense.

Sky Doll by Alessandro Barbucci
It's my fav as well, few handle color composition this well.
>>2638811
Oh, I see. Your sentence could've related to both my post or the posts I was referring to, nothing dense about that unless one could've guessed your intention. Anyway, cheers.
>>2638833
>nothing dense about that
lol
>>2638729
I can't even tell what is going on here...

Did OP mean pages or just panels?
Either way, here's something from a boy's action comic in 1979
>>2638970

All of Charley's War is pretty amazing in terms of the art. I have the complete edition of and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Not one of Blacksad's best comics, but this single page, the top panel and just this one character in general just boggles my imagination.
>>2638724
i don't disagree with your sentiment anon, especially since a lot of uremarkable manga pages have been posted here.
BUT.
the page you posted is objectively horrible anon. except for the bald man, every single shot on this page repeats itself once. seriously, it turns more retarded the longer i look at it.
actually, didn't he just copypaste those panels? jesus.
i really enjoyed this

I'm just going to post some Baki pages. You really owe it to yourself to read this one if you like fighting/martial arts stuff. The art is pretty original, but not bad at all, and it fits perfectly to the scenes which are some of the best I've seen in fightings.
>>2639570
Thanks for reminding me that awful ending
The Metabarons is full of beautifull art

I tried watching the anime but the dubbed version at least is horribly written.
Maybe it's better in japanese but fuck the pacing, characters and their motivations, and dialogue are fucking BAD.
Cool ghost designs though.
>>2638670
This was one of the first hellboy shorts I read and this page has always stuck with me. There are so many little subtle details. Fuck Hellboy is amazing.
>>2638970
I like the idea, too bad the art is fucking hideous.
