You shouldn't draw anime until you've actually have at least some understanding of your fundamentals. I'd recommend doing gestures until you got a 'feel' for the human body, then get more into construction. Anime is pretty close to people if we're just taking about the body.

Be sure to keep on studding Loomis, and Perspective Made Easy.

Be sure to be economic and fluid with your lines, your chicken scratching right now, it looks like shit.

I'm a more of a visual learner, so Proko usually does it for me.

Oh yeah, you should be drawing pencil on paper first, forget about the tablet until you at least have some understanding of the fundamentals. Don't make your own tread, post in the beginner threads, and keep at it.

If you draw every day for 2 hours, and you're not a retard, you will get better. It's inevitable.

Fuck, I forgot, everything is based on construction. You have to see 3d forms in your mind and be able to recreate a box, sphere, cylinder in any angle to be able to successfully construct anything.

Everything is based off the gesture but after you get the gesture down putting 3d shapes in perspective is a must. You have to deconstruct any form into basic shapes to get anything done. Boxes are extremely important, so be sure to be studding them.

Sorry for the big image, but I just wanted to display a survey of my current level of ability. What most needs work? I'm pretty terrible at anatomy, among a lot of other things. I'm currently going through Michael Hampton's book, so we'll see how that goes.
