I have very clean hands, so getting gunk and grease on my tablet is never an issue. Why does everyone recommend them?

reduce friction
I sometimes get sweaty palms and it makes it hard to work on tablets so i cut up a gloves and it works great to reduce friction.
I just got one of these. I like it. It works for my tablet and traditional drawings, so i'm happy.

buying a smudge guard can be beneficial for some people, but don't forget...
90% of any hobby is buying all the sick gear so everyone knows how much more serious you are than everyone else and, consequently, how much better you are at it!

This is off topic, but
>brother spends $2500.00+ on a PC rig with TWO Nvidia GTX 970 cards, 16 gigs of ram, Razer mouse + mouse pad, Razer Keyboard, Razer Orbweaver, Asus 4k gaming monitor, Dre Beats headphones, etc.
>only uses it for CS:GO and Overwatch a couple hours each week
Get a cotton glove, cut off tips that won't touch the surface. I get sweaty palms and it works perfectly. Massively reduced frustration.
Lots of people I know use them, but I don't. Never felt the need. Use them or don't, what do I care?
