in retrospect, it's interesting to note that a large majority of the artists I chose are chinese, and of those, most are females, and of those, aged 20-30.
I do feel as if chinese artists tend to value the technical side a bit more over style compared to japanese artists? It's a gross overgeneralisation, but just an impression I got.

It's funny, I've followed almost all of the artists you've posted, and I also have noticed the trend of the chinese having crazy technical skills compared to the japanese on pixiv.
I also notice the koreans seem to want to out-do the "moe" japanese style of drawing, so it's like hyper-moe, (huge eyes, cutesy colors etc taken to a new level) but they have no technical skills, or anatomy knowledge, just symbol drawing moe uguu, and they're usually very young.
