Why do you bother naming them? It's just visual puns and making it more obvious doesn't add anything of value, rather the opposite.
Also, I think you should use more references.

Solid, clever ideas (for the most part), but they need a much better execution.

I kind of like them, especially the ponytail one, but I am not a big fan of the coloring. Maybe it's part of your idea and concept, but watercolor would look a lot more appealing for this kind of work.
