Anyone know where to find art mentors? I'm too broke to afford a payed instructor and was looking for a casual place to find (somewhat) experienced artists that would give assignments and feedback on studies and artwork. Or even just a group to do regular artwork/studies/assignments together. Sorry if this was a dumb question.

You go talk to people. You can't pay someone to give a shit about you. You have to build rapport with them first and make them care about you on a human level and have a connection with them before they become your mentor.
You have to talk to people and show them who you are.
Okay, true, but where do I find these people to talk to, I was wondering what/where are the art websites or places that have these people.

meetup.com is pretty good for that

You're going to have to know them IRL for anything to be meaningful, otherwise it will be futile.
