I realized today that I don't really know as much as I should about human anatomy.
I need to start practicing more. Usually I just kindof wing it and draw what "feels" right.
Today I took some pictures of my own legs since I don't have any reference material, and I drew those.
Can anyone recommend any resources for anatomical reference? I'm hoping to find reference images that are more dynamic than just anatomy and front-facing poses. It's the dynamic poses that get me.
Will bump with some of today's sketches. I apologize if this is a topic that is frequently discussed. I've only ever been here a few times before. I don't usually share my work with people since I just do it at home for fun.
today was exclusively legs. Only about an hour of sketching.
I didn't take too many reference photos, but I guess I can always take more if need be.
the last two I drew today. I tried to take some reference photos of myself from different angles so everything wasn't just straight on.

You're making your rectus femoris too small. Started legs myself somewhat recently, pic related- Studying Bridgman. Pinterest usually has pretty large references for anatomy, search like "quadriceps" or something.
